FRS 2.0 Received University of California Larry Sautter Award for Achievement in University Computing

Facilities Reservations System (FRS 2.0) has received University of California’s Larry L. Sautter Silver Award for Achievement in University Computing.  The Larry Sautter Award is the highest IT (informational technology) award in the UC System. This award was presented at the UC Computing Services Conference held at UC Davis, June 16th 2009.

SRS Was Presented in National Institute of Health Workshop

Shared Resources Scheduling and Management System (SRS) was presented in Workshop on Efficient Management and Utilization of Core Facilities held by the National Institute of Health, July 14-15, 2009, on a poster session. The purpose of this workshop was to discuss the state of existing NIH-funded research core facilities, identify common problems encountered during their operation and use, and raise options for maximizing the use and efficiency of core facilities. SRS presented and demonstrated the solution for managing Core Facilities / Shared Resources efficiently, fulfilling NIH reporting guidelines.
